2.4 Get Testnet Faucet Credits
To begin using Aleo Testnet you will first need to use the faucet.
The role of the faucet is to enable community members to get credits to pay for test transaction fees. It’s the first necessary step for trying dApps or deploying your own Aleo programs.
Here is how to use Leo Wallet Faucet:
Begin by going to the Faucet Channel of Leo Wallet official Discord Server.
Press the “Request Faucet” button.
A form will appear, with a unique address field. Fill it with your address, it will not be disclosed publicly.
You will receive a private transfer of 15 Credits to your address. If you do not receive your credits immediately, just wait a few minutes fot the transaction to get accepted.
If you need more credits, you’ll need to wait for the 2 hours cooldown associated with your discord account. In case of a specific situation necessiting more credits, as deployement of a program with a lots of constraints, open a ticket here to ask the team directly.
There is a global limit of 3000 credits distributed among the server members, that gets reset every hour.
