2.1 Install an Aleo Wallet
The first step to start using an aleo wallet and leverage Aleo's privacy paradigm is to download the wallet, either from a desktop or a mobile device. For building web applications, I'd advise first to start building and testing using the desktop version, although a mobile application is available as well.
Download the Leo Extension on Desktop
Leo Wallet is available as an extension for Chromium-based web browsers, allowing for integration with desktop browsing experience. Supported plateforms include any chromium based web browsers:
Google Chrome
Microsoft Edge
Brave Browser
Opera
To install the Leo Wallet extension:
Visit the Chrome Web Store at the following link: Leo Wallet on Chrome Web Store.
Click on the "Add to Chrome" button.
A dialog box will appear. Click "Add extension" to complete the installation.
Once installed, the Leo Wallet icon will appear in your browser's extension area, ready for you to create or import a wallet.
